Meet Our Team

Charles Tracey, Center Director
Charles has been involved in structured teaching, playing and coaching of basketball for over 35 years. He has coached recreation, traveling All-Stars, and AAU teams in the community. Charles lives in Covington with his wife and three children. His family is very active in our community and the local basketball scene. Charles is the Girls Head Basketball Coast at Lakeshore High School and is also the former Hannan High School Head Basketball Coach.

Charles grew up in Kenner and played in Biddy programs from 9-12 yrs. old. He participated in four National Biddy Tournaments, winning a National chanpionship in Puerto Rico in 1976. He played High School Basketball at De La Salle High School in New Orleans through his Senior Year. He was coached by some of the best Biddy coaches in the area as well by Jim Tillette his Senior year. In fact, Jim won the Louisiana State Championship in 1986 before moving on to become the head coach at Samford in Birmingham, AL.

Ryan Lewis, Coach
Ryan parlayed his 6’9″ frame into a frontcourt career, first at the University of Georgia for two years then at the University of Jacksonville. Originally a graduate of Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg FL, Ryan has mentored young prospective basketball players as a Basketball Camp Counselor in Georgia for two years then again in Jacksonville for another two.

Now a resident of Mandeville, Ryan advises our coaches and players on drills, footwork, and schemes for our forwards and centers. He also works with our AAU teams to advance our players’ skill and basketball IQ. Ryan has been with our Center for two years.

Steve Alfonso, Coach

Elicia Ocmond, Coach

  • Girls Assistant Varsity Coach – SSA

A 2008 graduate of Mandeville High School, Elicia started point guard lettering all four years on the varsity team.  Senior year she was selected all-district, played in the Pontchartrain High School All-Star Game and was selected Honorable Mention Academic All-State.  In 2008-2009 she played guard one season for Millsaps College Women’s Basketball Team.

Elica’s coaching and AAU experience consists of playing six years for Mandeville Magic, and then coaching for the last 2 1/2 years at the NSBBTC.

Kenny Troncoso, Coach

Kenny has been involved in playing, teaching and coaching basketball for over 30 years.  He was the Director of Basketball at Supreme Courts in Madisonville.  While at Supreme Courts, Kenny coached and ran several basketball leagues and clinics. He has coached recreation and Biddy Basketball locally at Coquille and Pelican Park.  Kenny has also coached AAU basketball with the North Shore Lakers and the NSBBTC Titans. Kenny grew up in Kenner, LA and started playing ball at the age of 7.  A graduate of Brother Martin, Kenny has been a coach with NSBBTC for 2 years.
